Our Continuing Education Program provides ongoing learning opportunities and documented proof of the commitment to maintain proficiency and expertise in the ever-evolving field of vehicle system forensics. Offered online and in the classroom, opportunities focus on developments across the iVe Ecosystem, investigative techniques, challenges, and connecting with the vehicle forensics community.

The program is designed for investigators working at all levels. Events such as release webinars, focused topic webinars, live community hangouts, and user conferences support the required professional development for maintaining certifications and advancing proficiency in vehicle system forensics. Continuing education units (CEUs) are earned by participating in these events and recorded in your individualized training record.

Maintaining Certifications
Continuing education opportunities are the foundation for maintaining certifications. Ongoing participation is demonstrated commitment to maintaining the technical proficiency and analytical expertise represented by each of the iVe Vehicle System Forensics certifications ― not only at the time of initial certification, but throughout your career.
CVSO certification holders are required to maintain a track record of participation in continuing education opportunities and earn the required number of CEUs (continuing education units) during their certification period. Certified Operators may apply to take the Proficiency Examination any time during the last three (3) months of the certification period but only after having earned 20 required CEUs.

EXTENDED CERTIFICATION PERIOD
24 Months
CVST certification holders are required to maintain a track record of participation in continuing education opportunities and earn the required number of CEUs (continuing education units) during their certification period. Certified Technicians may apply to take the Proficiency Examination any time during the last three (3) months of the certification period but only after having earned 20 required CEUs.
